This series of box sculptures are made from wood and have been screen printed to resemble cardboard USPS boxes.
The objects within are usually collectable action figures purchased on eBay. Each toy is of a fictional character from a Hollywood action movie, but the figures are made to look like the celebrities that performed as the character.
They are fetish objects, kept precious in their original packaging, and placed in yet another layer of packaging (the wooden boxes). The packing material surrounding each figure is manipulated into some kind of diorama for each character.
