KPWR got a little behind in their finances, so they threw a Rent Party to catch up. There was stand-up comedy, followed by bands and DJs and of course plenty of beer.

TAP: Big Hair Country Fair

The Big Hair Country Fair was a highly successful fundraiser event to benefit Theatre Action Project. Nestled under the old oak trees at the Salt Lick pavilion, attendees enjoyed all you can eat BBQ and a flowing open bar. Adding to the festivities were wild carnival games, Bird’s Barbershop’s finest coiffures offering free hair doos, […]

Monofonus: Mellow Realm SXSW

This event happened during SXSW at the Monofonus Press compound. There were plenty of amazing musicians performing along with an array of art installations, beer, food, and other festive ingredients. The booth had plenty of repeat visitors (which is a great thing), but lots of technical difficulties with the scanner (which is a bad thing). […]

Mi Casa Es Su Teatro is a part of Hyde Park Theatre’s Frontera Fest. Folks walked all over West Mary and beyond in the blistering Texas cold. Please note all the poor sniffly, little red noses in the following photos. This performance included very special guest artist Madeline Malka.

Lake Park 2012

This was a short session set up for promotional photographs and video around Lake Park, near the Mueller Center. Hopefully some of the people photographed will find their way here! This performance included very special guest artist Todd Mein.
