Citizen Generation triumphantly threw together a black tie event to benefit Creative Action. This charity is especially important to Jean-Pierre because he has been a target of bullying all his life. Though in his case, the struggle comes from within – he is his own worst bully, target, and at times even a courageous bystander. Self-torment and ennui are his life blood or wine or mucus… whatever.
In any case, the whole event was a masquerade, which on one hand is disappointing considering how beautiful all the guests are. However, hiding away such a lovely visage is exactly the kind of coy behavior that brings out the very best in Jean-Pierre.
